Obituary
Krystal Ann Stuckless
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and best friend. Krystal passed peacefully November 22, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
Krystal was born to James and Doretta Grondin, February 1, 1955 in Windsor, Ontario.
She eventually moved to Thompson, Manitoba where she met the love of her life, Frank O’Donovan. Together they raised four children and grew a successful business. After nearly thirty happy years in Thompson, the pair recently retired to their dream home in southern Manitoba.
Krystal and Frank loved to travel the world together and were always planning their next great adventure. Krystal was happy whether walking a beautiful beach in Costa Rica, or cooking around a campfire in their own back yard. Her courageous soul, full of strength and resiliency, were admired by many, and will be greatly missed.
Respecting her wishes, there will not be a formal service but instead, a Celebration of Life. Krystal would want to allow for plenty of time for planning and travel, therefore details will be provided in the near future.
Our family is sincerely grateful for the remarkable care provided by Cancer Care Manitoba over the years. Their expertise enabled us to enjoy many happy years with Krystal, and it is our hope that other families are able to do the same. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to either CCMB or the Canadian Cancer Society in Krystal’s memory.
We’d like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and love. It is greatly appreciated.
