of Drayton was called home by her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, May 9, 2021 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late John T. Nymeyer for 43 years who predeceased her in 1994. Loving mother of Art and Alice Nymeyer, Theresa and the late Jake (2020) DeVries, John and Phyllis Nymeyer and Hillie and Jake Hoekstra. Oma of Christina and Merle Shoemaker, Sarah Hogeterp, Anne-Marie and Karl Vahrmeyer, Jonathan Nymeyer; Tom and Alison De Vries, Rita and John Cole, Karen and Trevor Sutcliffe, Brenda and Ben Van Dongen, Krista and Jeff McKay, Julie De Vries and Josh Lehman; Jake and Linda Nymeyer, Heidi and John Bos, Carolyn Nymeyer, Phyllicia and Tyler Wierenga; Robert Hoekstra and Leane, John and Angie Hoekstra, Gerald and Jill Hoekstra, Charlie and Jessica Hoekstra. Great Oma to her 44 much loved great grandchildren. Sister of Grace Zoer and sister-in-law of Grietje Bos, Jantje and Henk Kiers and Roelie Blok. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Jan and Tryntje (Oudman) Bos, two brothers, two sisters, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
The family would like to thank the Nurses and PSW’s who took care of mom the last few months, especially Charlene.
A private family service will be held in the Drayton Christian Reformed Church and will be live streamed on Friday, May14, 2021at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment Drayton Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
