Obituary for
Kirstin Jessica Rockwell
It is with shattered hearts that we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of our beautiful daughter, Kirstin Rockwell. On March 24, 2021 at 8:55 a.m. Kirstin’s life was tragically cut short by a vehicle collision east of Westlock, Alberta. There are simply no words to express how devastated we are.
There are very few people in this world who have that special gift and ability to truly connect with people when they first meet. Kirstin was one of those people. She was a kind, loving, generous and genuine person. And best of all, Kirstin had a hug for everyone, whether they wanted it or not.
Kirstin is survived by her fiancé, Robert Dudzic; parents, Trevor Rockwell (Sandra Witter) and Sandy Rockwell (Joel Foster); siblings, Brian (Paulina), Tyler, Matthew, Amanda, Nathan, and Justine; grandparents, Mary Solovenko, Marlene Godden (Alan), Brian Foster (Kelly Barber); great-grandparent, Leonard Sywak; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives. She was predeceased by her brother, Jonathan; and grandparents, Virginia Beer, Pete Solovenko and Tannis Foster.
Kirstin and Robbie moved to Thorhild County, where they quickly embraced rural life. She had a great love for her animals, especially Floki her puppy who passed away with her. Apart from Floki, Kirstin also had numerous cats, ducks and chickens that filled her days with joy.
Kirstin will be greatly missed, forever loved, but never forgotten. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, a closed family service will be held Thursday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed at www.parkmemorial.com through Kirstin’s Book of Memories. Click on webcasting.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the Edmonton Humane Society in Kirstin’s name, if you so choose.
