Kim Ann Morgan passed away on Tuesday, August 24 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie due to complications following a heart attack. Kim leaves behind her loving and supportive husband Ken of 26 years, daughter (w/Tim Hawley) Amanda, Chris (husband), and grandchildren Hunter and Zoe.
Kim is survived by her sister Julie, Dean, John and nephew Ryan, nieces Christina and Emily. She is predeceased by her mother Margaret Mae, step-father Ronald and brother Michael Darryl.
As Kim treated all friends like family, she will be sadly missed.
While Kim’s health has been declining over the years, she always made the effort to attend family gatherings and to enjoy spending time with her greatest loves of her life, her grandkids, nieces and nephew. Any time apart was always too long for Kim.
Kim was incredibly patient and loving person, always had a welcoming smile when we all gathered. While she did enjoy catching up with all the adults, back when she her health was not in the way, she just wanted to get down on the floor and play with or watch a Disney movie with the kids. Kim priorities where pretty clear, spend as much time with the kids as possible and let them know how much she loved them all.
Kim’s other love was for her dogs, Stryker, Peanut, Ernie and most recently Frankie who just passed away days before Kim’s heart attack.
Kim’s husband Ken has been her forever lover, friend, and for the last few years her main care provider. Ken has never hesitated to do what was necessary for her care any day or at any time of the day.
Kim was beloved by all of those around her and will be remembered with fond memories.

There will be a gathering at Marshall’s Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Wednesday, September 8th with a service at 11 am. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we invite you to view the service live through Marshall Funeral Home website.
