Katrina Darlene MacNutt (Gault)
MacNutt (Gault), Katrina Darlene – Age 39, Earltown, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Katrina was born in the Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour to John and Darlene (Levy) Gault on December 21, 1981.
After graduating from Duncan MacMillan High School in 2000, Katrina attended the Institute of Early Childhood Education and Developmental Services, graduating from there in 2002. After graduation, Katrina was employed at Mount Pleasant Nursery School in Truro until she started working as an Early Childhood Educator Pre-Primary teacher at Tatamagouche Regional Academy in September 2020, where one of her students was her son, Russell.
Katrina enjoyed making her own Christmas cards, which were beautiful, as well as yummy treats, which she enjoyed sharing with others at Christmas time. She also loved to listen to her favourite music. When most of the chores were done, there was always time to snuggle with their son, Russell and read some of his favourite books.
Katrina and Bruce were married on August 15, 2015. On December 2, 2016, their son, Russell Alexander MacNutt was born.
Left to mourn her passing are her parents, John and Darlene (Levy) Gault; loving husband and best friend, Bruce MacNutt and their adored son, Russell; mother and father-in-law, Alex and Linda MacNutt.
Katrina was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Russell and Helen Levy; paternal grandparents, Charles and Martena Gault; uncle, Kevin Levy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1st from 1pm until time of funeral service at 2pm both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Cory Lunn officiating. Burial will follow in Earltown Village Cemetery, Earltown. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. Proof of full vaccination with ID required.
