Kathy Irene Valois (Nee Lavergne)
May 3, 1957 – June 5, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathy Irene Valois (Nee Lavergne) at the age of 64. Kathy passed away swiftly and peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital in the company of her family on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Beloved mother to her daughter Shannon Maitland (Jonny), son Eric Valois (Cecelia) and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren Isabella Valois, Hunter Valois and Athena Maitland, she will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at Montfort Hospital and The Ottawa Hospital- General Campus.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions a private family service will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 1:00pm at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 315 McLeod St. with live streaming of the service for those who can not attend.
Kathy will be laid to rest next to belated parents Lois Lavergne (Nee Simser) and Edgar Lavergne at Capital Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a financial donation would be greatly appreciated to assist in Kathy’s final arrangements.
