Sehl, Kathleen Dolores (nee Kirvan)
We are saddened to announce that our dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt, Kathleen, passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Friday, March 12, 2021, with family at her side.

She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she treasured.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years George W. Sehl, by her brothers Frederick Kirvan and Kevin Kirvan, by her sister-in-law Dawn Kirvan, by Anna Bergant and by her parents Dr. Francis Kirvan and Helen Kirvan. She is also predeceased by sisters-in-law Pauline Schagena (the late Wayne) and Nancy Kazarian.
Born in Guelph, Ontario on September 6, 1938, Kathleen was a graduate R.N.A. of the former St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Brantford, Ontario. She lived and worked in Guelph before moving to Kitchener when she married George. Together, they built a lifetime of shared memories forged with family and friends. For the last seven years, she made her home at Lanark Village in Kitchener.
Thanks to Grand River Hospital staff and Mr.Yasna for their care of Kathleen, with special thanks to Dr. Stevens and Cathy for their attentive care and support for many years. We are grateful to Dr. Jagas and all the Lanark Village staff who made Kathleen feel at home and where she made so many friends.
A particular thank you to all those who truly give the gift of life by being blood donors.
Cremation has taken place. Due to the restrictions of the pandemic and out of concern for public health, a private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Lourdes Street, Waterloo. Interment will follow at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As an expression of sympathy, please consider a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada and/or perform an act of kindness for someone in need.
