It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing at the FLSC of this wonderful silver haired – blue eyed lady. Katie, born in Vancouver to Bill and Nina MacDonald. She lived most of her life in East Vancouver until moving to Langley (Walnut Grove) in 1993 with her late husband Glenn(1999). Preceded by her sister Mary (2002) and son Richard(2017). She is remembered by her now husband Ken, her daughters Colleen (Mike) and Karen (Rich), grandsons, granddaughters, great grandson (Jonah). Niece Cherise in Oregon, Niece Linda in Surrey and Nephew Michael in California. Numerous members of two previous marriages. Many, many good friends including all those at Southwind Estates. She was small in stature, gentle in manner, but she was still not shy in sharing her thoughts. You knew not to cross her fiery side. That was the Scottish in her. Katie loved her winters in Yuma, Arizona at the OG RV Resort Park. The number of strokes she had to endure over the past five years were just too much for her to handle. Thanks to the entire staff at FLSC Care Facility for your undivided attention at all times. God Bless you my Dear Katie. We will think of you with love in our hearts forever. Due to the COVID pandemic a Celebration of Life will be held when it is safe to do so. Donations to the Canuck Place for Children’s Hospice would be appreciated.
