Katherine’s Obituary
COLLISHAW, Katherine Glen – 97 of Lockeport passed away on Thursday February 16, 2021 at Roseway Manor. She was a daughter of the late Alexander and Sophie (Anderson) Conrad. Katherine was a member of the Lockeport United Baptist Church, she was a Cub Scout Leader and had fun stories to tell of taking the boys camping at the Scout Camp at Beaverdam Lake. She worked with Eddy O’Neil in his Sail Loft, making Sails. Dot enjoyed hunting, camping, gardening and was an avid reader. In later years when her health deteriorated she spent a lot of time doing jigsaw puzzle and even talking her care workers into helping her.
Survived by, Daughter-in-law Mary Collishaw, Lockeport, Grandson, William (Jenny), Canning, Great-Grandsons; Gordy and Landon, Sister-in-law, Millie Conrad, Dartmouth, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband William E (Bill) Collishaw, sons; Alexander (Sandy) and William Christopher, sisters; Mildred Langille, Jean Foote, Alice Atkinson, Joyce Arnold and brothers; Herbert and Lynton.
A big thank you to all the people who helped make Dot’s 97 years of Life special, this includes, Health care workers, Care Givers, Visitors, family and friends.
Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport where a Service will be held on Friday February 19th at 11:00 am, from the Huskilson’s Lockeport Chapel, burial to follow in Osborne Cemetery. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Lockeport Medical First Responders, Osborne or the X-Ray Machine Fund at Roseway Hospital.
