It is with heavy and broken hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Karen Phyllis Mitchell on November 13, 2021 at the age 64. Loving wife of David Mitchell of 32 cherished years. Proud mother of Rebecca Benson, Chris (Shelley) Mitchell and Morgan Mitchell. Devoted grandma of Austin, Dakota, Conner, Shaunda, Baxter, Braeden, and Seth. Karen is survived by her father Douglas Welch and her siblings Randy (Kathy) Welch, Debbie Welch, Tammy (Andre) Vermeersch, and Gaye (Ron) Taylor. Predeceased by her son Mason Douglas her mother Marie Welch (2016). Karen will be sadly missed and always remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Karen was always crafting and truly enjoyed spending her time with family, especially her grandchildren, and always giving to others.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 from 2:00p.m. until 5p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A private family service to follow.
