Obituary of Karen Haldenby
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Karen at ARCH on December 29, 2021, at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn her loss is her devoted Husband Harvey. Mother of Ursula Aguilar (Denis) and Cody Roberts (Janet). Stepmother of Leigh McCulloch (Drew) and Renee Haldenby. Grandmother of Samantha, Selma, Theo, Sabrina, Emma, Zoe, Charlotte, Alexa and her furry friend Ally. Sister of the late Gary Gjos (Marie), Guy (Marlene), late Conrad (Myrna), Dawn Gjos (Gabe), Beth West, late Stan and Paula Milroy (Murray).
Karen enjoyed life to the fullest. A country girl at heart, she had many passions. She was a fantastic cook, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and peaceful walks through the autumn leaves.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the ARCH Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Apostle and her team, as well the staff at ARCH for their kindness and care.
