It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother June Eleanor Carr (nee Pritchard).
June passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 84 after a courageous battle with cancer. June was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, and had worked as a secretary for the Canadian Military. It was there she met her husband and soul-mate Burton Carr. June leaves behind her daughter Debra, her son John (Terri). Grandchildren: Dallas, Devon, Dakota, Joshua, Jessica, Taylor, and great-grandchildren Lucas and Sophie. Predeceased by her loving husband Burton in 2013 along with her parents Mabel and George Pritchard, her sister Elizabeth (Mickey) McKercher, and her grandson David.
The family wishes to thank Ronald and Margaret Prichard for their continuous support and love. A special thank- you to the doctors and nurses at Providence Care Kingston for their patience, kindness, and exemplary care.
A private interment will take place at Cataraqui Cemetery for immediate family as per June’s request.
In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Breastcancer.org in June’s name would be appreciated by the family.
