Predeceased by parents Hugh and Doris Dilts and stepmom Hazel Dilts, siblings Mona (Frank) Johnson, Arnold (Irene) Dilts, and Everett Dilts. Survived by sibling Stanley (Doreen) Dilts.Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce lived a life of service to her Lord. She trusted Him to provide and left a legacy with everyone who is left behind. She taught Sunday school, played piano and always took an active role in the outreach ministry when attending Boyle BIC and Wainfleet BIC church.
She worked many years for DSBN from the 70’s into the 90’s before retiring in 1996 and kept the schools shining while giving a smile to the students who would see her hard at work. In her later years, she gained another ‘family’ with all of the staff at Grandview Lodge in Dunnville. When she moved in, they said she was ‘a breath of fresh air’ and during her time there, she was lovingly cared for by all of the staff who worked with her. Their smiles, laughter and appreciation for her sense of humour made her feel special. The time that they took to do the small things that really mattered the most will be something the family will forever be thankful for.
