It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, John Thomas (Tom) Reid. Born October 9, 1955, he passed suddenly at his home in Marystown on August 12, 2021 at the age of 65.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories are his partner and best friend Angela Graham, daughters Jessica (Chad Withers) of Grand Prairie, AB, Pamela (Mark Whelan) of Paradise, NL, Elizabeth (Matt Smith) of Calgary, AB, and their mother, Betty. Sisters Shirley (John Moulton) of Barrie, ON, Mary (Carl Ferrie) of Marystown and Joan (Gerard Fitzpatrick) of Oshawa, ON, brother Al (Pam) of Salmon Cove, NL and his two beloved grandchildren Jack Thomas and Emilee. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and large circle of extended family and friends.
Tom was predeceased by his father Emile, mother Evelyn (nee Walsh), and nephew Kirk Ferrie.
In following Tom’s wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
