It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Vegh, dear son of the late Esther and John Vegh of Montreal, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario.
John enjoyed every moment of life to the fullest with a positive outlook and passion for people, animals, music and nature.
John leaves behind his dear wife and best friend of 26 years, Sharon Vegh, his dear sister Linda Vegh-Balogh and brother in-law Chuck Balogh, his dear aunt Joan Csizmazia and beloved Picasso; his in-laws: Fred Ritchot, William Ritchot, Jerry Halas, Michelle Ritchot, Stefphany Cholakis and Wayne Taillieu; nieces Tammy and her husband Brent, Shelly, Jody and great niece Miya Taillieu and Kayla Kinakin and her husband Brandon and great nephew Brett Ferraro-Taillieu. John wished to send his appreciation for the care provided from his long-time family physician and the staff in Aurora, Ontario, Dr. Pravesh Jugnundan.
John was predeceased by his loving parents Esther (Nagy) Vegh and John Vegh, his uncle Joseph Csizmazia, his mother and father in-law Patricia (Crump) and Fred Ritchot, sisters in-law Lynda Taillieu and Joyce Ritchot and great niece Destiny Taillieu.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of John to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Ontario SPCA) or a charity of your choice.

John’s many friends and family will be invited to the Celebration of John’s life at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 374 Salem Road., Barrie on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at 2 p.m.
