Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of G. John Gaudet, loving husband of Janice (Parks) Gaudet, announce his passing on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on March 30, 1942, he was the son of the late Eva (Dubee) Thompson. In his earlier years, John drove taxi, school bus and most recently drove delivery truck for ICS Delivery. He was a long-time member of the RCL Branch #2, the RCA Reserve Saint John, the Buffalo Club, Elks Lodge and was a volunteer of the Grand Bay Fire Department. John was well taken care of by the staff of Carleton Kirk where he enjoyed playing Bingo and teasing the nurses.
In addition to his wife Janice, he will be deeply missed by his sons Gerry (Mary Ann), Duane (Audrey) and Troy (Ma ReKa); daughters Kim Clark (Peter), Holly (Paul) Albert and Candy (Gary) Paulin; sister Dawn (Ron) Keating; grandchildren Ryan, André, Jessica, Elizabeth, Aaron, Nicholas, Matthew, Quinn, Carter and Brody and 14 great grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. A Celebration of His Life will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at 11am. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Carleton Kirk Lodge Recreation Fund. For those unable to attend, a link to view the service will be provided here on Tuesday morning. Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those attending the service will be required to wear masks and show proof of vaccination with a piece of government issued ID.
