Passed away peacefully on Sunday October 3, 2021 at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Sharon Grenfell (Mooney)
Dear father of John (Barb Watson) and Nick
He will be missed by his grandchildren Amanda, Megan (Devan Guyea) and Taylor (Ron Ferrari)
as well as his great grandchildren Payton and Max.
He is survived by his sister Muriel Meller.
John is predeceased by his daughter Nancy (Pat Curry), parents Felix and Evangeline (Thompson) and his brother in law Clarence Meller
John loved his vehicles, it was his prized possession. He enjoyed driving the road and stopping where he can to visit friends and family. He was an avid poker and pool player who always enjoyed a game.
All are welcome to visit with the family at Zohr Family Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Avenue East, Renfrew on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 1 – 3:50pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Zohr Family Chapel at 4pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society or Hospice Renfrew in memory of John.
