Memorial Donation
On August 18th, 2021, Johann Ingjaldson passed away peacefully with family by his side. Johann was born December 4th, 1929 at the family farm near Tantallon, Saskatchewan.
Johann was predeceased by his parents Egill and Sigridur, first wife Doreen, father and mother in law Stewart and Eva Perrin, brother Jon, daughter Joanne, step sons Garry and Duane and numerous other relatives and friends.
Johann is survived by his wife Hilda, sons Brian (Tammy), Wayne (Marjorie), step-son Ron, son in law David, sisters Doreen and Finna, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Johann married Doreen (Perrin) on October 22, 1955. Doreen passed away in 1982. Johann held numerous jobs throughout his work career, ending with 19 years at IMC Potash mine at Esterhazy. He loved to build and fix things, and loved the challenge of solving problems. Baseball and Barbershop singing were two of his passions.
Johann married Hilda (Beitel) on September 30, 1988. They were avid dancers, and were well known in many dancing circles, particularly the Saskatchewan Pattern Dance Association, of which they were founding members. Travelling, gardening, crafts and volunteering at the Armoury Hall were joys in their life.
Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church September 8th, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Lunch will follow the service at the Moosomin Armoury. Masks are encouraged. Private family interment to follow.
