Obituary of Joanne Marie LeBel
With her family by her side at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, London on Friday, December 24, 2021.
Joanne LeBel of Putnam age 65.
Beloved wife of Mike.
Dear mother of Jason LeBel (Dianne) of Woodstock and Mark LeBel (Jaynel) of London.
Daughter of Jean Smith of Ingersoll and the late Raymond Smith (2015).
Sister of Scott Smith (Deb) of Dorchester.
She will be remembered as someone who always put her family first before she would even consider doing something for herself. Raising 2 boys (3 including Mike) was her priority. She was a second « mom » to not only her daughters in law, but any friends who came to the house as well. The strong, silent glue to our family. And of course, anyone who had the opportunity to taste them will know what she was and will always be the undisputed Queen of the butter tarts! She will be missed every single day by many.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family will be held at the Dorchester Union Cemetery.
A Celebration of Joanne’s life will be announced at a later date.
