Obituary of Joanne M. Hamilton
Hamilton Joanne M. – Unexpectedly, on Monday, December 27th, 2021; Joanne Marie Hamilton of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, she is the daughter of the late David & Mary Ellen (McCrossin) Hamilton.
Joanne enjoyed doing canvas and always looking for new crafts to do. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She attended St. Christian Centre in Milltown.
Joanne is survived by her son Troy MacCombie (Sarah) of St. Stephen, NB, two daughters Linda MacCombie (Sonny) of Andersonville, NB, Sharon MacCombie of Oromocto, NB, two sisters Rose Pitre and Sandra Brown, both of St.Stephen, NB,
four brothers Mark & Joey Hamilton, both of Saint John, NB, David Baxter Jr. of St. Stephen, NB and Ross Hamilton of Alberta, 7 granddaughters, Tia, Hayley, Vickie, Nicole, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Trinity, 2 grandsons Tyler & Hunter, 4 great grandchildren Hayden, Brooke, Carter and Ellie – May, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
By Joanne’s request, the funeral service will be a private family graveside service at a later date at Honeydale Cemetery.
Under the direction of the Dept. of Public Health, friends will be welcomed to attend briefly with the family, during a time of visitation to be held at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110) on
Friday December 31st, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm only. In lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
To attend the visitation proof of full vaccination along with a form of gov’t I.D. will be required. Covid 19 prescreening protocols will be in place and contact tracing information will be implemented. Those feeling anxious, vulnerable or unwell due to circumstances surrounding this pandemic are encouraged no to attend.
