Obituary of Joan Davis (nee Sunderland)
Passed away peacefully in Shawville hospital on December 25, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Albert Davis. Cherished mother of Amber (late Darry McCarthy) and Kerry (Ramona). Special grandmother of Ashley Sedor (Davis) and Joel Davis, Neil, Kent and Nicholas McCarthy. At Joan’s request there will be no service. Her wish was granted and her body was donated to the University of Ottawa for medical research.
Joan was a selfless person who always took consideration of others well before her own. Mom was an avid gardener, seamstress and quilter. Although a very private person, she took sincere pleasure in dedicating her time to her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all those who have been graced by her devotion.
We love you Mom and you will be forever missed by your family.
