It is with profound sadness to announce the sudden passing of Joan Gertrude Tucker wife of Milton Tucker of White Rapids, NB at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 71. Joan was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Duffy of White Rapids, NB.
She was predeceased by a brother, Aloysius of Derby, NB, sisters; Anne, White Rapids, NB and Cecilia Sturgeon, White Rapids, NB.
Besides her husband, Milton, Joan is survived by a son, Brent Duffy, White Rapids, NB, brothers; Cletus (Anne Marie),Etobicoke, ON, Merlin (Lorraine), White Rapids, NB, Barry (Wendy), Fredericton, NB, sisters; Ruth Hogan (Emmett), Renous, NB, Karen Donovan (Hubert), Renous, NB, several nieces and nephews.
Joan was a member of St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous, NB.
Visitation will be held at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church 12 St. Bridget’s Crescent Renous, NB on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 9, 2021 from St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church at 11 AM. Interment will be held in St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
