Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Marshall Gowland Manor, Joan Baley passed away at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Joseph Baley. Loving mother of Cynthia (James) Cullis, Joseph (Jacqueline) Baley and Julie (Richard) Schooley. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Dear sister of Faye Robinson (Bill), June Bell (the late Bill) and Joy Cochrane (Mark). Joan will be missed by several nieces and nephews, friends, family and by her cat Sparkles. Joan was a member of the C.W.L. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, she worked many years at Bell and Polymer and had a passion for travelling. Predeceased by her parents John and Olive Cooper. A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Marshall Gowland Manor, Ivy Lane, for caring for Joan with kindness and compassion during her stay there. A private service was held with the interment in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Vincent de Paul, Sarnia and District Humane Society or the charity of your choice (cheques mailed to the funeral home or made online, please).
