With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jim at his home with his wife and son by his side. Loving husband of Cheryl and the late Julia. Caring father of the late Leslie Ann, the late Bryan and Kyle, special dad to Amber and step dad to Jodie Lind (Bill) and Heather Koch (Doug). Papa to Lyric, Darcie, Amelia, Jillian, Reilly and Brayden. Brother to John (late Bobby). Brother-in-law to Brenda Bishop (Harold), Marcia (Kevin), Elva Jensen (Alfred) and Orville Royal. Son in law of Shirley Vine. Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Jean McArthur, parents in law Harvey and Doris Royal and his aunt Lillian Lendrum (Bud). Fondly remembered by Sandra and Lawrence Tetreault, Denis and Wendy Lendrum and Jay and Bev Goudreau.
Jim loved fishing and hunting in Red Lake and spending time with his dear buddies. He doted on his 6 grandchildren…they were the light of his life. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Blind River Beaver fan.
Due to COVID, a private, by invitation only funeral service will be held. Phillip Carlson officiating.
