Doucette, Jeanne Marie, Wedgeport, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was a daughter to the late Ronald and Eileen (MacKay) Macdonald. Jeanne worked multiple professions in her lifetime one of them was working as an LPN at Nakile Home for Special Care. Family was very important to Jeanne, she was caring, giving and had a contagious and distinct laugh that could be heard from near and far. She is survived by her husband, Warren; sons, Jean-Paul (Karine Gagné), Wedgeport; Michael (Crystal), Deerfield; sisters, Kathryn (William) Jupp, Ottawa; Sharon Fraser, Yarmouth; she leaves behind 5 grandchildren which she cherished deeply, Ben, Brody, Henrik, Mathéo and Ruby as well as several nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by siblings, Carol Macdonald; Ian Macdonald and Brenda Joergensen. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 14,2021 at 10 am from the St. Ambrose Co Cathedral. Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery Columbarium. Covid 19 restrictions, proof of vaccination is required. For those who will not be able to attend there will be a live stream for the service. Following the service there will be a reception in Jacob’s Loft, above Sweeny’s Funeral Home. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
