Obituary of Jean Eden
Eden, Jean (nee Clayton)
After living a long life filled with the love of family and friends, Mom left us on Saturday April 3, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Mom was predeceased by our dad Bob in 2008. She will be greatly missed by her children Lori (Bob) Bodner, Lynn (Ken) Goulding, Elaine (Brian) Fleming, Rob (Ronda) Eden and Marnie (Adrian) Taylor, her 17 grandchildren and their partners, and 12 great grandchildren. Sister to Vi (Ken) Brennan, Wil (d2016) Ilene Clayton and Edna (Reg d2006) Phillips. Sister-in-law to Richard and Bea Eden. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. “Sister” to her cousin Ron Senior and lifetime best friend of Joyce Elliott. Mom was always so full of wonder and loved the trips she took to England. She instilled a deep appreciation and wonder of the world around us. She was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56 Ladies Auxiliary. Mom was very strong in her faith and a long standing member of St James & St. Brendan Anglican Church and an avid theatre supporter. Mom had the most amazing smile and her face lit up any time her kids, grandkids or great grandkids came to visit. A sincere thank you to the staff of 2W Port Colborne General Hospital. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. James & St. Brendan Anglican Church, Showboat Festival Theatre or a charity of your choice. Family and friends are invited to visit DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the home of Rob and Ronda Eden at 53481 Marr. Rd. Wainfleet on Monday August 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
