MRS. JEAN GERTRUDE TOUGH
Of North Bay and formerly of South River
Peacefully at her home at Empire Living in North Bay on Friday July 9, 2021 in her 98th year.
Jean Tough (nee Schell), beloved wife of the late Wally Tough.
Dear mother of Sharon Stenning (Lorne), Jeff Tough (Sandie) and the late Jay Tough.
Loving grandmother of Rob Stenning (Christine), Heather Knoll (Dave), Jessica Gunson (Andrew), Jacob Tough (Kelly), Amy Hutchison (Christian) and great grandmother of Carson, Abby, Lukas, Ella, Jack, Maxwell, Liam, Corbin and Jaylin.
Predeceased by parents Annie and Delbert Schell and sisters: Rita, Margaret and Shirley.
Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
A private family graveside service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Jean Tough will be conducted at the South River Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Lupus Ontario would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
