Janet Keeting (nee Wilson)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Janet on Friday August 27, 2021 in Richmond Hill at the age of 90. Janet, wife of Charles Keeting, was born the daughter of James & Margaret Wilson, on April 17, 1931 in Toronto, Ontario, is predeceased by her siblings – James, Frank, Frances, Alex, and Peggy. Janet married Charles ( Chuck ) Keeting on August 8, 1953.
Janet will be forever loved and deeply missed by Chuck, her children – Heather, Larry, Alex, Ron (Cindy), Brian, and Douglas, her grandchildren Janet, Debbie, Rick, Brent (predeceased), David, Scott & Amanda, and her 2 great grandchildren Nolan and Zach.
Janet & Chuck settled in Richmond Hill to raise their children while enjoying 68 wonderful years of marriage together. Janet always enjoyed family gatherings and dedicated her life to maintaining the household and raising 6 children in a small but cozy home that was always full of love, laughter, family and friends. May we gather strength from our memories of Janet and cherish them as we did whenever we gathered for any occasion whether big or small.
Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration will be held at a future date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Janet’s memory.
