Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jan Milewski, on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the age of 88. Jan was born on May 26, 1932 in Poland where he worked for over 25 years as a teacher with special needs children.
Jan will be deeply missed by his 2 children Adam (and his wife Magda as well as their daughters Ewelina and Patrycja, and 4 grandsons) and Ewa (and her husband Omar as well as their children Kasia and Adrian) and their mother Jadwiga.
Jan’s strong faith in God, his kindness, generosity, fondness for food and singing will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
May he rest in peace and forever stay in our hearts.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to the nursing staff on 6S at the Copernicus Lodge for their excellent care during his final years.
Due to current restrictions in place for funerals, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. The service will be live-streamed for those wanting to share these moments with his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Copernicus Lodge.
