Jake’s Obituary
It is with profound sadness and the heaviest of hearts that the family of Jake Kehler announces his unexpected but peaceful passing at the age 63, at his home in Northstar, Alberta on June 25, 2021. He will be remembered by wife Kelly, his three children Cassandra(Kody), James(Justin), and Adrienne(T.J.); and his six grandchildren Aiden, Marshall, Trinity, Zachery, Viktor, and Theron; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was best known as a heavy equipment operator, where he made his true and lifelong friends. To his family he will always be remembered as the best damn hoe’r of the north *snicker*. He had many hobbies in his time but will always be remembered by his family for being incredibly creative and an avid inventor.
Jake was predeceased by his mother, Susanna Kehler; his father Diedrich Kehler; his sisters Susan, Helen, Mary, and Liz; his brothers John, Abe, Willie, and Hank. He is survived by his sister Margaret(Henry), and his brother Peter(Betty).
In memory of Jake, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
