Obituary of Ivan Thomas Chilvers
Peacefully, on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Caressant Care Nursing Home on Mary Street in Lindsay, at age 89. Ivan Chilvers, is survived by his brother Lawrence and his sister Isabel. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mable (nee Blanchard), and his siblings Pearl, Irene, Hazel, Leonard and Walter. Ivan will be missed by his many nieces, one nephew and several cousins.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to the THORNE FUNERAL HOME, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672). Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cannington. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions allow. A special Thank you to the staff at Caressant Care for Ivan’s wonderful care. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Diabetes Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of your choice.
