Obituary
Isabel was born on August 13, 1936, to Mike and Evelyn Kelley and was the second of six children. She was born in Marlboro but was raised on Kelley Road, in Hinton, AB.
She was married to Frank Hunt, when she was just 18 years old, on August 21, 1954, in Edson, AB. After 4 years of marriage, they expanded their family with the birth of their first son on October 15, 1958, and their family grew to have a total of six children, by October of 1976 – 3 boys and 3 girls.
Isabel had a few jobs, including most notably, her time doing janitorial work at the Hinton post office and her most favourite job of picking cones in the bush. Although she was a hard worker, most of her time and effort was put into raising and spending time with her family. She loved gathering with family for coffee visits, being outside with her flowers, going for drives and picnics, and picking berries in the bush. During her retirement years, she spent the majority of her time with Frank doing work on their land – as they loved to do together.
After many years of studying the bible, in 2016, Isabel was baptized and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She spent a lot of time in her last years attending meetings and conventions, going out in service, and spending time with many friends who shared her faith. She also took every opportunity to spend time with her 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Isabel was predeceased by her parents Mike & Evelyn; 3 younger brothers Ray, Jimmy & George; husband Frank; and grandson Dustin.
Isabel leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Bob (Cammy), Clayton (Christie), Jack (Maureen); daughters: Betty, Cindy (Brad), Roxanne (Shaun); Brother Bill; and Sister Loretta. She will also be lovingly remembered by all her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
