Ina E. Piper
1921-2021
It is with heavy hearts, the family of Ina Elva (Brown) Piper of
Knoxford, announce her passing at River View Manor, Bath, NB on
October 7, 2021, just 23 days short of her 100th birthday. Mum was
born on October 30, 1921 in Summerfield, NB, the youngest child of the
late Allison and Marjorie (Addie) Brown. She was the last surviving
member of her family and was predeceased by her siblings, Stella,
Raymond, Howard, Cecil, Ruby, Wallace and Glendola.
Ina is survived by her children, Fred (Val), Aubrey (Kathy), Gladwyn
(Sheila), Merrietta (Wayne), Joyce, daughter-in-law Cheryl (late
Gary), step-son Paul Jordan (Pauline), 16 grandchildren; Katrina,
Nadine, Michelle (Kevin), Tim (Sue), Steven (Lori), Scott (Tammy),
Andrew (Alichia), James (Yasmin) Allyson (Chris), Jeremy, Christopher
(Holly), Jennifer (Ryan), Brandon (Victoria), Marshal (Caity), Whitney
(Juston) , 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ina was predeceased by her husband Glenn in 1988, son Gary in 2016 and
grandson Gary Gene in 1982. Mum enjoyed her word books and jigsaw
puzzles.
A private family service will be held. For those who wish the funeral
service will be Live Streamed on the L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors
Face Book Page Saturday at 2:00 pm. A private interment will be in
the Lower Knoxford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made to the Lower Knoxford Cemetery or to a charity of the donor’s
