Peacefully at the Lancaster Long Term Care on Friday, June 11, 2021. Hubertina “Betty” Nysten (née Henssen) of Williamstown; age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Nysten. Loving mother of Frank Nysten (Jocelyne), Mary Nysten, Elsy Sloan (Wayne) and late Jane Grant (Bruce). Cherished grandmother of Tonya Vandruff (Todd), Melissa Chaumont (Martin), Emily Crooks (Ian), Jessica MacKay (Andrew), Robert Grant (Stephanie), Cameron Grant (Laura), Steven Grant (Kristin), Kalyn Sloan, Courtney Sloan (Shawn Kyer), Kelby Sloan (Natalie Gauthier) and Connie Laframboise (Shane) and great grandmother of Ashlee, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Olivier, Benjamin, Lillian, Lawson, Eli, Ethan, Mackie, Isla, Mairyn and Finnan. Dear sister of Frank Henssen (Susan), Jeff Henssen (Fran), Jeanette Van der Burg (late Ted), Gerr Henssen (late Riet) and Fiens Gerits (late Hub). Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro and Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, ON (613-347-3629). A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery.
