Hodgkinson, Sandra Margaret
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Sandra passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2021 with family by her side.
Born in Meaford on July 31, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Vera (nee Stephens) Ormsby.
Sandra was the loving wife of 54 years to Claire Hodgkinson, mother of Rick Hodgkinson and Lori (John) Grano. She will be forever loved and missed by her two grandchildren, Noah and Avery. Sandra is survived by her two sisters Verla (Ivan) Cramp-White and Coreen (Jim) Clarke and will be dearly remembered by her brother-in-law, Alan (Christine) Hodgkinson and her nieces, nephews and their families.
Grandma loved her grandchildren with all of her heart; they were the light of her life. She loved, and always looked forward to, hearing about their successes and accomplishments at school and about all of their activities.
Sandra’s family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4 until 7 p.m. A private family service will be conducted at the funeral on Friday, with interment following at Lakeview Cemetery.
