Heidi Allingham
1971-2021
RICHIBUCTO, NB – In loving memory of Heidi Lylla
Allingham, 49, of Richibucto, also known as « The Restigouche
Rose », who passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent
Hospital, Ste. Anne, surrounded by her loving brothers and friends,
all of which Heidi was fond of, on Friday, May
14th, 2021. Born in Campbellton, she was the
daughter of Annette (Benoit) Allingham, of Campbellton and the late
David Allingham.
All that knew her will never forget her grace, wit and charm
and her undying love for her children. She was a fierce Momma Bear and
a force to be reckoned with. She will forever be her
children’s protector and a guardian angel.
Her love for music was known to all who loved her, the sound
of the 80’s was the soundtrack of her life. Her « DJ
Booth » room was a place of peace, tranquility and laughter during
the final days of her life. It is in this room where friends and
family were constantly at her side, after all, she is the chemo
princess and would not have had it any other way.
To be in Heidi’s presence was always a time of
laughter and fun. She was the light in every room and to all who were
blessed with her friendship will forever know what it felt like to be
loved.
Heidi leaves to mourn two beautiful children, Megan and Kyle
Vautour, both at home in Richibucto; her two brothers who devoted
their lives to attending to their sister in her final years, James of
Campbellton and Shawn of Saint John; as well as her beautiful mother,
Annette Allingham of Campbellton.
Besides her loving father, David, Heidi was predeceased by
her aunt Betty and the dear Coco Bean, Uncle Ducky.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral
service will be held in Campbellton, under the direction of
Maher’s Funeral Home and final arrangements will be
announced at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr.
Whitlock and his team of professionals and the staff at the
Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital for the compassionate care Heidi
received at the hospital.
