Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family of Harvey Doucet announces his passing, which occurred at the Church of St. John St. Stephen Home on Saturday, December 11th. Born in Bathurst on May 31, 1949, he was a son of the late Joseph and Stella (Stever) Doucet, and the loving husband of the late Barbara (Davidson) Doucet. During his working years, he was a machine operator with Inteplast. He is survived by his son Michael (Tania), step-sons Derek Keith and Ryan Burgess, daughters Michelle (David) and Tricia (Fred), step-daughter Dana Keith, brothers-in-law Max Frees (Sandra) and Tom Davidson (Sharon), sister Brenda Burke (Dave), along with grandchildren Jennifer, Kendra, Alexandria, Christopher, Kristen, Nicholas, Ella, Zackery, Lilly, McKenzie, Caitlin, Hazel, and Nico, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday from 10am-12pm, with a memorial service at 12:00 from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated. Due to the regulations placed on indoor gatherings, all attending the visitation or memorial service must provide proof of vaccination along with government-issued ID, and masks are mandatory.
