Obituary
Peacefully at the Elgin Abbey Continuing Care for Seniors in Chesley on May 6th, 2021 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Allan McNichol (pre-deceased). Daughter of the late William and Grace Arkell. Fondly remembered by special friend Arthur Middleton of Chesley. Survived and sadly missed by many nephews and nieces andgreat nephews and nieces.
Grace served many years as a nurse at both Brampton Civic and Chesley hospitals. Grace was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Goodwill Chapter #235 and an avid supporter of her church. Grace enjoyed knitting, crocheting and supporting many charities. She also enjoyed spending time in the Beaver Valley area visiting her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
The family would like to thank the staff of Chesley Hospital and Elgin Abbey for the care and compassion shown to Grace during her stays.
Private family graveside service to take place May 10, 2021 at Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Chesley and District Health Services Foundation or the Hanover Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
