After 4 weeks of fighting for his life our father passed safely into the arms of his Lord and Saviour at 4:34 PM on December 30, 2021 surrounded by his children and grandchildren. We spent the day pouring out our love over him and walking him home. He is back in the arms of our mother now and that gives us peace. Glen is survived by; two daughters, Glenda (Berry Jackson) Duchak of Vermilion, Alberta, Terry (Trent) Foster of Innisfail, Alberta; eight grandchildren, Brayden, Jordan and Ashlyn Duchak, Faith, Hailey, Aliah, Adam and Colby Foster; his mother-in-law, Ruth (Hans) Wigand of Trochu, Alberta; two brothers-in-law, Manfred (Laura) Rist of Brooks, Alberta, Vern (Maria) Rist of Trochu. Glen was predeceased by his loving wife, Iris; his father, Starke Keinick; mother, Esther Keinick; father-in-law, Henry Rist; brother, Larry Keinick; sister, Frances Favell; nieces, Corey Thompson and Ronalee Favell.
Funeral service details are still being organized and will be updated as the information becomes available. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to STARS.
