Obituary
Georgina was raised in Peepaw Plains,Sk. She lived life to the fullest with her husband Kenneth Severight, they shared a lot of memories together. Their greatest achievement was buying a home together in Pelly, Sk in 2011. Georgina was a traditional woman who attended a lot of ceremonies, who loved to travel as well. She enjoyed going up north to Peepaw Plains at the « the Cabin », where she picked traditional medicines, made dry meat. Georgina was a very hard worker at Cote Nursery, also worked for Yorkton Tribal Council Child family services, and lastly she did mossbag teachings and Saulteaux classes at Saulteaux Healing Wellness Center. Georgina would go to key culture camp every year to teach how to make dry meat.
Georgina and Victoria would take her grandchildren Gabriel, Kendra and Kenton on the powwow trail, around Manitoba. She was so proud to watch all her grand children dance, always encouraging them to go dance every interibal. Georgina and Victoria sewed and put together all of their grand children regalia together.
She loved to sing, always into karaoke, and would travel to go to « The Coffee House« . Georgina raised a lot of children in her life, as well as her own and grandchildren, nephews. Georgina went through many losses in her life, she was a fighter, she never gave up, she was a `go get`èr« . She remained positive throughout everything.
She is predeceased by her parents; George Littlewolf and Margaret Nippi, adopted dad; Bones, Her husband; Kenneth Severight, Siblings; Susanne Monase, Carol Nippi, Mary Nippi,Raymond Nippi, John Nippi, Bonnie Whitehawk, Rodney Littlewolf, and Darcy Waspash. two baby infants, daughters; Virginia Severight and Barbara Severight, grandsons; George Alfred and Bradley Jay.
Georgina is survived by her son; Kenneth Ray, sisters; Victoria Blackbird (Benny), Margaret (Janey) Brass, Victoria Machiskinic, and Rita Gilbert, grandchildren; Gabriel Lerat, Kendra Severight, Kenton Severight, sisters-in-law, Wanda Cote (Vernon), Angelina Severight, Dena Kakakaway (Allen), Donna Strongquill (Vernon), nephews; Allen Whitehawk, Andrew Whitehawk, Alex Whitehawk, Conrad Nippi and Houston Kakakaway (Amanda), Leonard Netowaysin and Percy Netowaysin. Special Grandson Aaron Brass, special niece; Pamela Henry, special cousin; Metro Thomas, special friend; Clayton Friday. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Georgina will be truly missed by many.
