BESSE, George Russell – Passed away peacefully on Thursday February 18th, 2021, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie in his 71st year. Survived by loving and caring wife Karen of 44 years. Father of Steven (Tanis) Besse, Alan (Jaclyn) Besse, and Ashley (Chris) Caldwell. Brother of Jack (Ella) Besse and Edna Cameron.
A heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and doctors at RVH for all your care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to Hospice Simcoe or Canadian Cancer Society.

We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
I miss you every day.
