MARTIN, George Earl – Husband of Joan (Elliott) Martin, father of Kerri (Rob Wellstood) of Peterborough and Kimberly (Richard Tarrington) of Colborne, ON, passed away quietly and peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
George was a gentleman and an arm chair coach of hockey, baseball, and football. He enjoyed living a quiet life and spent many hours on numerous lakes and rivers fishing. He will be truly missed by all that know him, including his grandchildren, Anthony, Belinda, Jory and Kira.
Visitation will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Wednesday, December 15, from 1-2 p.m. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 15, at 2 p.m. Proof of Full Vaccination & Photo I.D. Required. If desired, donations to Hospice Peterborough or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
