Gary’s Obituary
NICKERSON, Gary Brent – 62, of Lower Clark’s Harbour, Shelburne Country, NS, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021at the Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Gary was born on July 17, 1958 in Roseway Hospital and was the son of Eleanor Atwood (Nickerson) and the late Alvin M. Nickerson. He was predeceased by father, Alvin; infant son, Colin Brent; and infant brother, Terry Robin. He is survived by loyal partner Wendy Atwood and her sons, Justin and Logan; mother, Eleanor Atwood (Nickerson); sons, Craig (Melissa), and Cory (Michelle), both of Kelowna, BC; sisters, Eunice Rennehan (Courtney), Sandra Taylor (Daryl); brothers, Stephen (Barbara); Brian, and Blair. Gary’s joys in life were his devoted partner Wendy, his sons, grandchildren and the love of sports that he participated in many over the years. In later years he loved keeping the home fires burning with Wendy by his side. Arrangements have been entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. There will be a family graveside at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund.
