Garry’s Obituary
SYMONDS, Garry Warren – 71, of Clyde River, formerly of Clark’s Harbour, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and his beloved animals. He is survived by his common-law wife of 33 years, Margaret (O’Donnell) Spencer; sons, Justin, Joel; step-son, Trevor (Jennifer) Spencer; grandchildren, Courtney (Luke) Waybret, Logan, Charlize, Luke; great-grandsons, Owen and Oliver. He also leaves behind four sisters, Wanda, Linda (Herbie) Nickerson, Marjorie (Hubie) Williams, Elsie (Johnny) Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Garry was predeceased by his parents, Maclean “Cannie” and Juanita (Blades); brothers, Joseph “Chucky”, Anthony, Bobby, Arthur, and Fred. Garry was a hard worker, loved his time on the water, being outdoors, and having a good “yarn”. Cremation has taken placed under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington, with no service by Garry’s request. Memorial donations in his name may be made to VON, Shelburne County.
