It is with great sadness we announce the
passing of our mother, Gail F. Veinotte,
80 years of Springhill, on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in the Cumberland
Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Parrsboro Roads, NS, she was a
daughter of the late Cynthia Anderson.
Gail was a dedicated homemaker, and
loved to care for her children, grandchildren and all the neighborhood
kids. She loved animals. In the summer, she could
often be found in her flower gardens, or at her family homestead in
West Bay, NS.
She will be dearly missed by her three
sons Peter (Denise), Moncton, NB, Joseph, Springhill, N.S.
and Randy, Halifax, N.S.; grandchildren Nick and Matt; great
grandchildren Keegan, Dominic and Aurora; sister Gloria Phinney,
Oshawa, ON; sister in law Audrey John, Mahone Bay, NS;
several nieces and nephews.
Besides her mother, she was predeceased
by her husband, Allan G. Veinotte; son Jeoffrey, infant sister
Rachel.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A public
graveside service will be held in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill on
Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 4 pm, Rev. Dr. Brian J. Spence
officiating. All are welcome to attend.
If so desired, donations in memory of
Gail may be made to the LA Animal Shelter, or All Saints Anglican
Church.
