Gabrielle Taillon (Carriere)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing in Sturgeon-Falls, December 12, 2021 at the age of 81. Loving wife and best friend of 58 years to Michel Taillon. Daughter of Aimé and Emma (née Beaulieu) Carrière both predeceased. Loving mother of Pierre (Nicole) and Denis (Kristen). Missed and loved by her siblings Gisèle (predeceased Onil), Paul (predeceased Béatrice), Cécile (predeceased Laurence), Robert (Éveline), Jean-Marie (Georgette), Agnes and Colette (predeceased Richard). Siblings predeceased Noël (predeceased Noëlla), Victor (predeceased Jacqueline and predeceased Claire), Henri (Berthe) and Marcel (predeceased Alice). Grandmother to Janelle (Callen), Karine (Julien), Emily, Sarah and Jacob. Great grandmother to Elsie, Eva and Margo. She will be sadly missed by her brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and friends. Gabrielle was an active woman who enjoyed skiing, golfing, curling, bowling and quilting. She would spend countless hours in her pedal boat fishing Ash Bay. Friends and family are invited to visit at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St-David’s Parish, Noelville. Due to the current pandemic and its restrictions, masks and social distancing are mandatory.
