Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Fred Sharrun on December 9, 2021 in Drumheller, Alberta at the age of 58 years.
Fred was born on May 14, 1963 at Edmonton, Alberta to Fred and Sherri Sharrun. He was one of four children. Fred took most of his schooling in the Edmonton area. Upon completion of high school, Fred went on to become a Red Seal Automotive Mechanic.
Fred enjoyed the outdoors, he loved boating as its as close to flying as you can get, he kept his vehicles in pristine condition with excessive washing and maintenance, camping especially, he loved to sit in front of a campfire. He loved his family and spending time with his friends. He spent lots of time tinkering with vehicles, he helped others with their vehicles, and going for rides on his motor bike was paramount. Fred had a deep understanding of what happiness meant to him. Fred had a flare (Shiny) for life, he stood out with his great hair, his jewelry, and his personality.
Fred was predeceased by his dad Fred Sharrun, his step-dad Ed Koda, and his niece Jenny Erechuk.
Fred leaves to cherish his memory, his children son Fredrick (Brooke, Sophia) of St. Alberta, daughter Michelle (Ryan) of Drumheller, his fiancé Victoria (Kiana, Noah, Vince), the mother of his children Tracy, his mom Sherri, his step-mom Bernice, his sisters Sue (Don), Marny (Bob), his brother Trevor (Janeen), his nieces and nephews Chasidy (Fred), Jacqueline (Rhett), Candice (Ryan), Jayden, Christian, Steven, Donnie (Misty), his step siblings, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a lifetime of friends. Fred will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the local Mental Health and or Suicide Awareness.
A private family service was held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes.
