Predeceased by parents Ernest and Irene Brenton; brothers Clyde and Wayne; brothers-in-law Guy Broydell and Albert Taylor and sisters-in-law-Rosella Lambert and Mabel Moulton. Frank was the best husband, father, grand father, brother, uncle and friend.
He was a man who cherished his family above all else, especially his beloved wife Judy. Frank was married to Judy for almost 55 years, and they built the most special life together. Frank was a kind, gentle, and hardworking man who was always there to lend a helping hand whenever he could. He enjoyed hunting for moose or turrs with his brothers and buddies, playing a game of cards, going out in his boat to our island, and spending time at his cabin in the woods. Frank’s pride and joy were his grandchildren, and he spent endless hours playing dolls and trucks, building forts, and playing pretend in their younger years; and as they got older, although they no longer played, he loved nothing more than to see them come for a visit and spend time together. Frank was an outstanding, salt of the earth type of man, and he will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. He will be loved and remembered forever.
The family would also like to send a special thank you to the Community Health Nurses who cared for Frank at home, as well as the doctors and nurses who cared for him at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre. The outstanding compassion and care he received was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
