Obituary for Frank Wong
February 16, 1938 – March 21, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Wong announces his sudden passing on March 21, 2021 at the age of 83. He will be forever remembered by his surviving sister, Jennie Dong (nee Wong), and brothers Doug Wong and Art Wong.
Frank grew up in Fraser Mills with his 8 siblings, he is predeceased from George, Peter, Jessie, Emma, Sam. In his school years, he became friends with his lifelong friend Dennis and Marleen Wagner. He gave all of his working years to Fraser River Pile and Dredge and was a pillar of the community.
He was an exceptional outdoorsman and enjoyed sharing his love of camping and fishing with his many nieces and nephews. There are too many to list here. But will he will be missed by each and every one. His multiple hobbies included shooting, hunting, riding dirt bikes, mechanics, woodworking and learning many different skills to help his family at any time.
Our family gatherings will not be the same without our beloved photographer to capture all of the good times together, but he will always be in our hearts.
