Frango (Frank) Alfieri
March 19, 1932 – January 15, 2021
It is with great sadness Frank’s family announces his peaceful passing at home with his family by his side. Frank went home to be with his Lord and Saviour and back into the loving arms of his wife Donna Mae (Haggerty).
Dear Father of Paul and his wife Rennie, Cynthia and her husband Mark Burkholder and Philip. Beloved Grandpa to P.J. (Brenda), Jennifer (John), Jonathan (Christie), Andrew (Melissa), Ashley (Jamie). Cherished Great-Grandpa to Jayce, Trenton, James, Faith, Violet, Franklin, Penelope, Montgomery, Remington and Rhys. Great-Great-Grandpa to Emilia. Cherished and loving friend to Victoria.
Survived by his youngest brother Guido, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and great -nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Nunzia Alfieri and two brothers John and Domenic.
Frank was a loving and hardworking man of strong character. Frank enjoyed attending church, supporting missionary charities, reading his bible and teaching his family to love the Lord. Frank’s passion was farming. He was proud to sell his produce at the local Farmer’s Markets to his faithful and loyal customers. He enjoyed being outdoors singing hymns while riding on his tractor, going for long walks and cutting firewood in his bush. Frank will be fondly remembered but greatly missed by all who knew him.
‘Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.’ Ps. 116:15
Due to Covid restrictions at this time, cremation has taken place and interment to follow in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to Canadian Cancer Society or World Missionary Press of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
